Turkey lowered import duties on Ukrainian agricultural products

Ukrainian producers will be able to supply more agricultural products to the Turkish market.

The Turkish government has reduced duties on imports from Ukraine of certain types of agricultural products.

About it reports the Ministry of agrarian policy and food of Ukraine.

Thus, duties on imports of cattle will be reduced to 26%, of carcasses of cattle – 40%, wheat up 45%, barley – up to 35%, maize – up to 25%.

The Turkish authorities also took the decision to apply zero rates on imports from Ukraine of cattle within the tariff quota of 500 thousand heads, sheep and goats – 475 thousand heads of beef – 75 thousand tons.

“Interested Ukrainian companies and companies in the export of the product concerned in the Republic of Turkey in case of need can contact the Embassy of Ukraine in Turkey. The Embassy is ready to support and facilitate the establishment of contacts and networking with local relevant agencies in the jurisdiction,” – said in the Ministry of agrarian policy
