Congress approved the results of the presidential elections in the United States.
The U.S. Congress in session of both chambers on Friday approved the decision of the Collegium of electors, which gave the most votes to Republican Donald Trump in the presidential election.
Approval passed amid numerous objections of congressmen who did not agree with the election results and demanded their revision.
In particular, Congresswoman Barbara Lee from California before the allegations, said he did not accept the results. “This is unacceptable, because people are horrified by credible evidence of Russian interference in our elections,” she said.
In the House of representatives members called for the revision of the vote in the States of Alabama, Florida, Michigan, Texas, Mississippi, and Carolina.
Presiding in the Senate, Vice President Joe Biden, in turn, rejected the complaints of congressmen, noting that they must be executed properly. “It’s over” – in an ironic form he said.
