The President of the United States Donald trump spoke about a second, previously unknown to his meeting with Vladimir Putin at the G20 summit.
In an interview with The New York Times said that the dinner meeting lasted no more than 15 minutes.
According to the American President, his wife Melania sat next to Putin at the other end of the table, that’s why he approached them.
“Dinner came to dessert. I was just going to say hi to Melania, and also shook hands with Putin. Actually, it was more an exchange of pleasantries. It wasn’t a long conversation… maybe 15 minutes. Just talked”, – told the trump.
He also added that during a conversation with Putin touched on the topic of adoption.
Trump noted that the issue of adoption was discussed in June 2016 during the meeting between Donald trump Jr. and guests from Russia.
