“President Donald trump will address the national troops and the American people tomorrow night at 21.00 (04.00 GMT, August 22) from Fort Meyer in Arlington, Virginia, to talk about the US plans in Afghanistan and South Asia”, – stated in the message.
The US defence Secretary Jim Mattis expressed satisfaction with the process of developing a new strategy for Afghanistan by the administration of the tramp, but did not go into details, according to Voice of America.
Speaking in the Jordanian capital Amman, Mattis said he would not talk about policy, while the White house did not announce it officially.
