Sanctions against Russia will be strengthened, while Ukraine will not return to its borders, the adviser said trump.
Advisor to the President of the United States Donald trump and new York mayor from 1994 to 2001 Rudolph Giuliani spoke in Kyiv a public lecture on “Ukraine and the US role in the context of global challenges”.
– Of course, what happened with Crimea is a violation of basic international law. It was an illegal invasion of a sovereign country. The invasion, which, unfortunately, happened because the US and Western Europe did not react properly. It was a demonstration of our weakness. Maybe if we just quickly took extremely tough sanctions against Russia, Putin would not go to the East of Ukraine and did there what he did, said Rudolph Giuliani.
And the Crimea, and Donbass must be returned in composition of Ukraine. This should be the aim not only of States, but the international policy of the West in General. Sanctions against Russia will remain and will intensify as long as all the border of Ukraine will not return to its original condition.
