Trump hopes for good relations with Russia

The US President refused to call Russia a threat to security.

The President of the United States Donald trump refused to call Russia a threat to security, saying that such threats are in many countries.

The head of the White house said during a joint briefing with President of Finland Sauli Niinistö after the meeting in Washington.

“I hope that we have good relations with Russia. I say this loudly and clearly as he spoke it for many years. I think it’s good if we have prekrasnye relationship, or at least good relations with Russia. I believe that someday it will happen. This is a big country, it’s a nuclear country. I think it is very good for world peace and other things,” said Donald trump.

When a Finnish reporter asked the U.S. President about whether he considers the Russian Federation a threat to security, trump said that by looking at what is happening in the world today, many countries is a threat to security.
