The US President Donald trump said that between Washington and Pyongyang are possible “serious conflict,” which he wished to solve by diplomatic means.
The corresponding statement of the American President voiced in an interview with Reuters to the 100 days of tenure.
“There is a possibility that we may have a serious conflict with North Korea. Absolutely. We would like to solve issues diplomatically, but it is very difficult,” said trump.
He called the DPRK its “biggest world problem.”
The U.S. President praised his Chinese counterpart XI Jinping for the help, Beijing’s attempts to “rein in Pyongyang”.
“I think he does a lot, he doesn’t want to see the turmoil and death, he does not want to see, he’s a good man, he’s a good man, and I with him very well acquainted. He likes China and he likes Chinese. I know he would like to do something, but maybe he can’t do that,” says trump.
Speaking about the North Korean leader, the American leader said that Kim Jong-UN came to power at an early age.
“He’s 27 years old, his father dies, he heads a regime. Say what you want, but it is not easy, especially at this age. I don’t give him credit, I’m just saying that it is very difficult. As for whether it’s rational, I have no opinion on the matter. I hope he is rational”, – concluded the President of the United States.
