Meet the Ukrainian MP with the White house confirmed.
The meeting of the adviser to the President for national security Michael Flynn with the Ukrainian people’s Deputy Andriy Artemenko really took place, but the topic of sanctions was not raised. This was stated by the lawyer of the American leader, Michael Cohen.
The New York Times previously wrote that Michael Flynn, the now ex-Advisor to Donald trump and the White house were transferred to the “peace plan for Russia and Ukraine” Artemenko, promoted by attorney Cohen and business partner of the President of the United States Felix Satiram. Flynn allegedly received the document a week before leaving the team trump.
“I recognize that a brief meeting (with Andrey Artemenko – ed.) has taken place, but categorically denied discussing this topic and transfer any documents to the White house and/or Flynn,” said Cohen.
According to him, reports of the transmission of a proposal of the people’s Deputy of Ukraine are “fake news”.
Earlier Artemenko told that handed the White house a plan for the Crimea, and also the dirt on the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
Russian authorities believe that the plan Artemenko is an attempt to divert attention from the “failure of the President of Ukraine to fulfill the Minsk agreements”.
