Trump and Stoltenberg discussed a peaceful solution to the conflict in Ukraine

Trump held a telephone conversation with the head of NATO.

The President of the United States Donald trump held telephone talks with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, says Bloomberg citing the report of the White house.

According to the report,the sides discussed possibilities for “peaceful settlement of the conflict along the Ukrainian border”.

“The sides agreed to continue close coordination and cooperation to resolve the full spectrum of security issues facing NATO,” the statement reads.

In addition, trump has agreed to join the meeting of leaders of NATO which will take place in late may.
