During a visit to Japan with Donald trump was a bit of confusion. An unfortunate episode occurred during the ritual of feeding the fish at the Japanese Akasaka Palace.
On the second day of the visit to Japan trump and the Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was scheduled audience with the Imperial couple, Akihito and Michiko. As with other foreign politicians, he was led to the pond, where the koi – an ornamental domesticated fish.
The Guardian writes that trump did not have the patience to lure carp in small portions of food, as did Abe, so he opened the wooden container and poured in the water from all content.
On the photos posted on social networks by reporters from the White House, it is clear that Shinzo Abe standing next to a woman in a kimono, as well as U.S. Secretary of state Rex Tillerson barely contain my laughter. Some journalists have suggested that once trump and Abe left the room, the staff of the Palace hastened to clear the pond.
As the newspaper notes, too much food harms the koi. In addition, the increasing number of waste reduces the quality of the water in which the fish live.
