Straight from Japan arrived in the United States new mobile computer Toshiba Portege X20W to participate in the 2017 CES show in Las Vegas. The laptop is a transformer, and combines a thin design, good battery life and a modern stuffing, but its cost remains a mystery.
Laptop Toshiba Portege X20W can become a tablet with Full HD touch-screen 12.5 inches, closed with a sturdy Gorilla glass fourth generation. The display supports a proprietary TruPen stylus based on Wacom technology, recognizes 2048 pressure levels — this is easy to work in graphic editors and drawing from scratch. The manufacturer chose not to disclose the basic specifications of Toshiba Portege X20W, adding that the talk about them during the announcement in one to two days.
However, it is already known about the presence in the PC processor Intel generation Kaby Lake, DDR4 RAM and disk subsystem in the form of high-speed SSD. In computer emphasis placed on the protection of the device and information in it — in addition to the protective glass, there are metal housing with a thickness of 15 millimeters, and a fingerprint scanner, an infrared camera (conventional also available) and TPM module for hardware-based encryption. Toshiba Portege X20W weighs 1.1 kg and works up to 16 hours on a single battery charge.
