Toyota presented a concept city car HQ, which used cutting-edge solutions to create “emotional connection” between driver and onboard systems.
A key element of the proposed concept — intelligent assistant Yui adapts to every motorist. The assistant can interact with the driver in various ways: by voice, with the help of interior lighting and climate system, as well as through tactile communication through chairs and even due to generation of odors.
Yui takes into account the current emotional state of the driver, the situation on the road, driving mode and other factors. Assistant provides useful information in real time, selects appropriate music, etc.
For Toyota LQ provided by the presence of the autopilot with the fourth level of automation SAE: such vehicles can move independently in most situations.
The car is equipped with a projection display augmented reality the AR-HUD. Digital Micromirror Device (DMD) allows using headlamps to project a variety of information and signs directly on the roadway.
For the concept is provided the use of a fully electric propulsion with power supply from batteries. Claimed power reserve reaches 300 km.
The machine has dimensions 4530 × 1840 × 1480 mm, wheelbase — 2700 mm. the Car is designed to carry four people.
