Toyota is working on an update of full-size SUVs

The Japanese are preparing to update the Toyota Sequoia and Toyota Tundra.

Toyota is working on an updated version of a classic midsize SUV Toyota 4Runner. Also the Japanese are preparing to update the Toyota Sequoia and Toyota Tundra. This became known from the words of the Vice-President of marketing at Toyota ed Luksa.

The first generation Toyota 4Runner was introduced in 1984. First it was the compact SUV, and later the Japanese turned it into a mid-size SUV. In 2009, began selling the fifth generation of this model.

It would seem that already there is a need to market new, sixth-generation 4Runner, but Toyota is in no hurry to develop it. Instead, the Japanese are preparing an update of this model.

The same situation with the Toyota Sequoia and Toyota Tundra. Their current generation went on sale too for more than eight years ago. They have already become obsolete will agree, but ed Laux says that while new generations have not. But customers soon will offer their updated versions.

When dealers finally will be updated 4Runner, Sequoia and Tundra – is not yet known. Good news is that these innovations really work.

Back in 2010 said that Toyota wants to discontinue series production of the Sequoia, but soon will end in 2017, and this full-size SUV is still being sold in many countries.
