Toyota introduced off-road caravan

Toyota Hilux pickup turned into a motorhome for the extreme

Caravans usually, designed for good roads or easy offroad.

It is understandable, because most of their customers rarely go too far from civilization. However, for the real adventurers doing much more serious technique. By order of the wildlife photographer Stefan Forster created a special motorhome Expedition V1 to work in the most remote corners of the planet. It is based on the pickup Toyota Hilux. The residential module is mounted on the cargo platform.

It includes a double bed, kitchen with sink and gas stove, a set of racks for Luggage and equipment. The roof is able to rise to increase the inner space. Also provides satellite communication.

To overcome the terrain Toyota Hilux Expedition V1 is equipped with locking differentials, a reinforced underbody protection, additional optics and snorkel. In addition, a revised 3.0-liter turbodiesel engine rated at 225 HP
