Toyota has introduced a new sedan version of the Yaris under the name Ativ. According to Autocar, the car price is starting from 14 thousand dollars. Thus, the novelty is the cheapest sedan in the model range of the brand. The car is aimed primarily at Asian markets. The main competitors of the sedan called the Nissan Almera, Honda City.
The car has received a wide grille and led optics. In the cabin of the sedan is installed an upgraded infotainment system and a 4.2-inch display. The car is equipped with dual front airbags, traction control system, function-start, and ABS.
Novelty is equipped with the 1.2-litre petrol engine. The capacity of the unit is 86 horsepower. The motor works together with a CVT.
In March of this year at the Geneva motor show, Toyota introduced an updated version of hatschek Yaris. The redesigned car received 900 new parts, with the proportions of the car remain the same. Hatchback got larger grille, new optics, side madigi and modified the bumper. In the cabin installed new seats, a 4.2-inch display and an updated instrument panel. The machine is available in trim levels Entry, Mid, Mid+, Bi-Tone and Chic.
The creators have equipped the redesigned Yaris new 1.5-liter gasoline four-cylinder engine. Motor power is 111 horsepower. To 100 km/h the car with this unit accelerates for 11 seconds.
