One of the main advantages of autumn is more mild temperatures and stunning colors of nature. If you want to enjoy a romantic holiday and brilliant autumn foliage, consider one of these fantastic destinations.

Bayern

Bavaria is home to breathtaking scenery with endless Alpine forests, which in autumn are painted in amazingly bright colors. The top of the mountain covered with snow since the fall season, giving the landscape even more dramatic. This region is home to Neuschwanstein castle, as well as many other beautiful palaces and castles for a fairytale romantic getaway. Autumn is also a wonderful time for excursions on the carriage, walking tours in the Alps and visits to wine festivals.

The lake district

The lake district of England known for its scenic beauty and fall colors when it becomes even more stunning and romantic. With many scenic lakes and forest-covered hills, the region is ideal for Hiking. Cumbria is famous for the beautiful forests, including Forest Park Grisdale with green pines and beeches, as well as mountain views. Right on the Park has several pubs, including Hearthstone Pass Inn, where you can drink a glass of local beer, or cider. And although the weather at this time of year is notoriously unpredictable, fleeting clouds and rain only accentuate the magnificence of the scenery and make the journey even more romantic.

Prague

Prague is a romantic city any time of year, but it is especially lovely in the fall when the crowds of tourists dissipate, and the Golden hue of the foliage shines against the backdrop of magnificent castles, Gothic churches and lovely bridges. A little fog adds a mystical atmosphere and without that mysterious city. After dark you can walk under the heat of the charming gas lamps along the cobblestone lanes and enjoy views of the Old City during a boat cruise on the Vltava river. To end your day in one of the bars, drinking Czech beer and order a traditional pork knuckle.

Park Wicklow

Autumn is the perfect time to visit Ireland when you can endlessly enjoy the bright blue skies and far fewer tourists compared to the summer season. The gorge of the Columbia river
