More than 300 migrants left the capital of El Salvador.
Sunday, October 28, a group of more than 300 migrants left the capital of El Salvador and went to the border of Guatemala with the aim to subsequently get USA.
“Group consists mostly of men who were inspired by the example of a much larger caravan of migrants from Honduras and other Central American countries. Those went on the road two weeks ago through Guatemala and were able to enter the territory of Mexico,” – said in the message.
As the newspaper notes, migrants who continue to move through Mexico towards the US border, have to cover about 1600 kilometers. While migrants from El Salvador have yet to overcome 120 km to the border with Guatemala and 300 km to get to the borders of Mexico.
The Minister of internal security of the United States Kirsten Nielsen has called for migrants who go to the U.S. to change their plans.
“Not here you will miss… There is only one way of migration to this country legal,” said Nielsen.
