The Secretary of state said that the American leader will raise in conversation with his Russian counterpart the conflict in Syria.
The US President Donald trump on the upcoming meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin intends to discuss the situation in Syria, said Wednesday the Secretary is Rex Tillerson.
“Before heading to the G20 summit in Hamburg I would like to comment on the current situation in Syria, which the President (Donald trump − ed.) will be discussed at a meeting with Russian President Putin,” said Tillerson.
The Secretary said, “first of all, all parties in Syria should ensure the stability on the spot.”
“If we do not achieve stability in Syria, our progress in defeating the Islamic state may be incomplete. Second, the parties must work through the political process to achieve a solution that shows the way forward for the Syrian people. Finally, Russia has a special responsibility to help in these efforts”, – said the head of the state Department.
