Tillerson and Lavrov would meet again

U.S. Secretary of state Rex Tillerson and the Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov will hold another meeting in new York.

This became known from the schedule of meetings Tillerson, published on the website of the state Department.

It is noted that the meeting will be held at 17:00 local time (midnight CET) at the Palace hotel.

Tillerson and Lavrov has held a meeting in new York on September 18. Then they discussed the situation in the middle East and the implementation of the Minsk agreements.

It is noted that the conversation of foreign Ministers of the two countries lasted for 45 minutes. It was initiated by the American side and had informal character.

September 16, U.S. Secretary of state Rex Tillerson and Russian foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov held a telephone conversation during which discussed “the need to intensify efforts to implement the Minsk agreements” and “the current situation in the Syrian settlement, including the tasks of the antiterrorist struggle on the ground.
