The national Bank came to the conclusion that the transaction for the sale VS Bank possible.
The national Bank of Ukraine pre-approved the purchase of the TA VS the Bank, which is owned by Russian Sberbank. This was reported in the comments to Interfax-Ukraine Deputy head of the NBU Ekaterina Rozhkova.
“We have received a package of documents for the purchase VS Bank. We are in the final stage of the analysis. Preliminary analysis shows that this transaction possible,” she said on the sidelines of the annual Ukrainian financial forum in Odessa.
Earlier media reported that the owner of the TA and Wagon Bank Sergey Tigipko intends to purchase of the savings Bank’s 99.9% stake in VS Bank. The package of documents for approval of the transaction was recently submitted to the AMC and the NBU.
As of July 1 assets (3,621 billion UAH) VS Bank occupied 28-e a place among the 88 existing Ukrainian banks.
