Cybercriminals began to lure Internet users via social networks, attracting them with free tickets.

A new virus has been spotted in Russia and France: the Russian users of social networks were asked to win two tickets from Aeroflot or Emirates airlines, and the people of France from Air France.

When users navigate to the link on their computer the device was loaded with a Trojan virus. Then, once logged in using their personal accounts at Facebook, gave the fraudsters access to your personal information, and hackers have gained access to the broadcast user’s contacts malicious links.

The expert at cyber security company Group-IB Ruslan Yusufov on his page in Facebook warns against copying these messages: placing links and the scammers get access to the gadgets and computers of gullible users and their online accounts, personal information, including information of an intimate nature.

“When you click on such link you will be taken through several websites pads. In the process you see is likely an attempt to infect your device with a Trojan or other malware. In parallel, you will answer questions like “do You want to get 2 free tickets?” and “Confirm your age(Aya)”, – says the expert.

After infecting the device with him can steal money via online banking, in case it’s a computer company – it can also steal money or commercial data, says Yusufov.

“Your computer will be connected to the botnet for automated DDOS attacks or spam. Your computer will be used for mining bitcoins, to store prohibited materials (for example, not entirely legal pornography), for concealment of traces of crimes (such as proxy-server); not necessarily that it will engage the same people access to your computer can be sold on the black market for $ 1-2,” he writes.

In may of this year in 150 countries around the world held a series of cyber attacks using the virus WannaCry, which revealed resistance to major anti-virus programs. Most of the computers were infected in Russia and the United States.
