Thriller “Alien”: this Jackie Chan we haven’t seen

Cheerful and charming master of martial arts – most of the audience knows Jackie Chan that way. Someone grew up on his movies (remember the scene after the credits with unsuccessful stunts?), someone in my youth probably tried to use one or the other thing, well, someone just curiously watched the career of this brilliant actor. He had great movies, were failures; with age, as often happens, the career went on the decline. Jackie Chan for 63 years, it’s hard to maintain the reputation of a cool guy who relentlessly kicks ass villains using any available items. We have to regroup and try other images.

In the Thriller Martin Campbell , the Alien (The Foreigner) Jackie Chan not to smile. Hell, one has only to read the official synopsis, as it becomes uncomfortable. So many misfortunes fell on one person? Hey, writers, you are there at all, or what?! It’s the hero of our childhood! Yes, this time Chan has got a very serious dramatic role. Although no fights here will not do, of course.

In that moment, when he thinks of all the misery and horror of his family behind, a wife and daughter die in a terrorist attack, organized by the IRA. Seeing that the authorities are not too eager wanted terrorists, Min decides to find and destroy the criminals.

Jackie Chan in the image of a heartbroken avenger – what is that? Appeared on the days the trailer looks very good, definitely have to take the film on a note. Campbell, responsible for directing, known primarily as the man who first demonstrated a respectable audience of Daniel Craig in role of James bond (“Casino Royale”). The script was written by David Marconi (“Enemy of the state”) and Stephen leather, who previously worked exclusively on the series. Well, to confront Jackie Chan will be pierce Brosnan, another bond, needs no further introduction.

On the “Alien” worked for UK and China, the production budget was 35 million dollars. The world premiere is scheduled for September 28, 2017 . The Russian release is also in the plans (thanks to the company “Paradise”), but will be later on: 9 Nov.
