Three Ukrainian preachers arrested in Belarus

They were arrested for crossing the street in the wrong place and planted for 15 days.

In Minsk arrested three Christian preachers from Ukraine, who arrived in the capital of Belarus at the theological seminar.

It is reported by the politician Ales lahviniec, released on 2 April from the Center for isolation of offenders.

According to Lahvinets, he sat with the missionaries in the same cell. The Ukrainians came to the seminar, organized by the “Mission of the Good news.” It was held from 21 to 24 March, but shortly before the event, the landlords without explanation terminated the lease.

March 22, three Ukrainians, who were to take part in the workshop, was stopped by police for crossing the street in the wrong place. They were fined and made protocols for disorderly conduct. In the end, the missionaries were sentenced to 15 days of administrative arrest.

“Belarusian partisan” called the names of the detainees: Leonid Nomercy from the city, Ashot Sargsyan, born in 1970, Khmelnitsky and Vladislav Ermolov, 1986, from Nikolaev.
