A Ukrainian scientist-mathematician Marina Vyazovskaya received the award is sastra Ramanujan Prize-2017. Vyazovskiy will be awarded for proposals addressing problems in 8-dimensional space. The Marina also applied the approach to solving problems in a 24-dimensional space in co-authorship with other scientists. This was announced by the publication the New Indian Express.
The award is also awarded for the PhD-academic work, written and defended at the University of Bonn in 2013.
The organizing Committee explained the award Vyazovskiy that its development will have a serious impact in the future on discrete geometry, analytic number theory and harmonic analysis. Is sastra Ramanujan Prize, founded in 2005 and is awarded annually for a contribution of mathematicians in the area that were interested in scientist of India of Srinivas Ramanujan. The prize is awarded to professionals under 32 years old, citing the fact that Ramanujan was able to submit its development up to that age.
The award will be awarded on December 21-22 2017, at the International conference on number theory at the University is sastra in Kumbakonam, the hometown of Ramanujan. Cash the nominal value of 10 thousand dollars.
It should be noted that Vyazovskiy graduated from Kyiv natural science Lyceum No. 145 and the mechanics and mathematics faculty of Kiev national University named after Taras Shevchenko.
