The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko spoke at the session of the parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg. The corresponding video is published on his page in Facebook.
The President reminded Europeans that Ukraine continues to resist Russian aggression and against this manages to implement reforms in the country.
“Today, as three years ago, we have to continue to look for the answer to Russian aggression. Aggression, which turned in a rough offensive not only against Ukraine, but against human rights in the heart of Europe. In the world there is hardly another such illustrative example of such a state as Ukraine, which has to simultaneously fight on two fronts. On the front to counter external military aggression, the restoration of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the state. And at the front of the implementation of complex and comprehensive reforms,” said Poroshenko.
The head of state stressed that Moscow continues to blatantly close our eyes to our persistent calls on the international community’s calls to return to international legality.
