The brawl started a few minutes after the rally started at city hall.
In Odessa at city hall occurred some fights between protesters who demand the resignation of the mayor Gennady Trukhanov because of a fire at camp Victoria, and police officers.
Later there was another scuffle between protesters and members of the national guard who assessed the building. Activists tried to enter the courtroom but they were not allowed. Activists chanting Trukhanov get out! Protesters and national guardsmen were divided by the police.
Also there was a fight at the side entrance to the building.
According to the media, intervened patrol, also went to the journalists. Protesters used gas and pushed the police where also there was a small fight.
