The X5 has increased in 2-4 times the supply of socially important goods to the stores

MOSCOW, March 17. /TASS/. X5 Retail Group increased its shipments of socially important products to the stores in 2-4 times. About TASS said the official representative of the network. The company operates stores of several retail chains: a “neighborhood” stores under the brand “Pyaterochka”, supermarkets “Perekrestok” and “Karusel”hypermarkets.

“We have increased the volume of deliveries of socially significant goods from the warehouses to the stores in 2-4 times and adjusted the rules calculations – some products will be exhibited pallets to provide the increased demand for them”, – he said.

The representative of X5 Retail Group said that the retail chain has increased the number of staff in stores, canceled all leave, changed work schedule and brought on additional staff, reallocated transportation for distribution of the categories of high demand. “We monitor online stores and redirect flows of goods in those shops where fix especially the increased demand,” he said.

Thus the interlocutor of the Agency stressed that the stock will last for a few weeks in advance, stable prices, increased deliveries and the company representatives ask customers to take a balanced approach to the creation of reserves subject to stable availability. With a shortage of goods on the shelf in the store, a new delivery will be made during the day, assured the company.
