The world Bank rejected the pension reform of Ukraine

Representatives of the Bank did not like some aspects of the reform.

Changes to the bill on pension reform (No. 6614) that were made during its preparation for the second reading, concerns the key creditors of Ukraine – the world Bank (WB) and International monetary Fund (IMF).

This is stated in a joint letter to the IMF and the world Bank to the government of Ukraine.

-A revised draft of the law presented in the beginning of this week, was changed in a way that causes considerable concern both in WB and IMF
– leads the Agency the words of the Director of the world Bank for Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova satu Kähkönen.
