The world Bank noted a critical moment in Ukraine’s economy

The adoption of the land reform is one of the conditions for attracting investment.

The world Bank group President Jim Yong Kim noted the critical importance for Ukraine to adopt a land reform and establish anti-corruption court.

“We believe this is a critical element in the economic growth of Ukraine in the future. It’s not only in the mechanics of land reform, but also that the perception of Ukraine in the world will change in a very positive direction,” said Jim Yong Kim.

According to him, the adoption of the land reform will help to attract investment to Ukraine.

In addition, the President of the world Bank group announced that on 13 November he met with heads of National anti-corruption Bureau and the Specialized anticorruption Prosecutor’s office. According to the results — the successes achieved in anti-corruption bodies, is staggering.

The next step is the establishment of the independent high (anti-corruption — 24) the court is critical. It is part of the cooperation program with the IMF. But I want you to know for the future investors, people who follow Ukraine, this next step is absolutely critical. We understand that this decision is inevitable, but I can’t stress the importance of establishing such a court, said Jim Yong Kim.

He also expressed readiness of the world Bank to provide their best experts to help Ukraine to conduct medical reform.
