In the West, with a comfortable margin from his pursuers leads Minnesota with four points and two matches left. Without much success, the pursuit of “Savages” lead “San Jose” and “Chicago”, and the third echelon are Anaheim and Edmonton.
The remaining two places in the playoffs, expect all clubs except hopelessly behind “Arizona” and “Colorado.”
Western conference:
On East Washington is rapidly approaching the milestone of 40 wins. “Capitals”, led by Extremum and Ovechkin have the best defense of the season and in attack in their conference, second only to “Pittsburgh” and “Rangers”.
East meets West the highest level of competition for a place in the playoffs. Five clubs took the lead (“Washington”, “Columbus”, “Pittsburgh”, “Montreal” and “Rangers”), and on the other three vouchers claim without exception the participants of the conference.
