Summing up another week of the regular season for the hundredth season in NHL history.
Western conference:
“San Jose” a few matches ago could become the third club from the West, which guaranteed a place in the playoffs, however, the “sharks” gave a series of six defeats in a row, and in the last two games, the former leader of the Pacific division missed 13 goals. Position “San Jose” in the playoffs is not in danger, but at this rate, Peter’s team Debora by the end of the regular season will be dropped from the top 5 of the conference.
The top 8 went far beyond the other teams of the conference – “Los Angeles” already nine points behind “St. Louis”, with only theoretical chances of getting into the playoffs.
Eastern conference:
In the East the situation is much more acute – two weeks before the end of the regular season for a place in the top 8 I from at least five teams. Boston has already lost a third line in the Atlantic division and Tampa Bay, the islanders, Carolina and the rest at the end of the season I’ll try once more to upset the Bruins.
Quietly the end of the season meet “the Rangers” “Montreal” and “Ottawa”. “Washington”, “Columbus” and “Pittsburgh” in the playoffs.
The leaders in the attack:
1. Conor McDavid (Edmonton) – 88 (26 goals, 62 assists)
2. Sidney Crosby (“Pittsburgh”) – 82 (42+40)
3. Patrick Kane (Chicago) – 81 (33+48)
4. Brad Marchand (“Boston”) – 80 (37+43)
5. Niklas Bäckström (Washington) – 79 (22+57)
Leading goaltenders:
1. Sergey Bobrovsky (“Columbus”) is a reliability coefficient of 1.99, 93.4% of the reflected shots
2. Braden holtby (Washington) – Kuf. 2,01, was 92.7% neg. shots
3. Peter buday (“Tampa Bay”) – KOF. 2,17, 92.0% neg. shots
