Donetsk “Shakhtar” in a match for the Ukrainian super Cup with the score 2:0 beat Kiev “Dynamo”.
The main character Odessa blockbuster became the Pitmen’s forward Facundo Ferreyra, the Argentinean gear ismaily scored twice, equalling the achievements of Oleksandr Gladkyy, Luiz Adriano and Fred, who also managed to score two goals in the super Cup matches.
Shakhtar became the eight-time winner of the trophy. This is the fifth time in the history of the tournament when the winner of the super bowl was the club, who scored twice in last season’s Golden double.
The club’s coach Paulo Fonseca has joined the list of coaches who won the super bowl. Previously this title was in the hands of Mircea Lucescu, Anatoly Demyanenko, Serhiy Rebrov, Yuri Semin, Alexei Mikhailichenko and Valery Gazzaev.
