The victims of the attack at the airbase in Libya which started more than 140 people

The Libyan government denies attack on an air base in the South of the country.

The representative of the Libyan national army under the command of Khalifa the Haftarot Ahmad al-Mesmari said that at least 141 people were killed in the attack on the airbase in the South of the country.

“Soldiers returning from a military parade. They were unarmed. Most of them died,” − said al-Mesmari.

According to him, among the victims of the attack were also civilians who worked at the air base, or were nearby.

The national consensus government declared that did not give the order about the attack on the airbase, but the incident in the South of the country “is a military escalation, and complicates the process of national reconciliation.”
