The Vatican has created a game about the saints in the likeness of Pokemon Go

Ватикан создал игру о святых на подобии Pokemon Go Game Follow JC Go now available free for iOS and Android.

The Catholic Foundation Ramon Pane created a game with elements of augmented reality Follow JC Go.

The first user of the new application became Pope Francis.

Instead of monsters like in the original game, Follow JC Go allows you to “capture” the saints and other biblical characters. Exactly the same as the original, the game uses GPS to determine the user’s position in the city.

Given the educational nature of the Follow JC Go, once you find a character, you have to not only capture, but to answer some questions about it. If all goes well, you will be able to get it in my eTeam (Evangelical team) that will accompany the player during pilgrimages.

During the game you can “meet” not only Christ, but also the other characters of the Bible, the prophets, the saints. Jobs can be both individual and group. In addition, it is planned that players will be able to meet offline. Note that the first to Follow JC Go checked in Pope Francis.

In creating the Follow JC Go invested about 500 thousand dollars in private investment and donations, as well as the works of 43 designers, theologians, Church historians and engineers who have worked thousands of hours of 32 from August 2016.

The app also takes care of the physical and spiritual health of the player. The game has indicators of the level of water consumed, power and frequency of prayer.

To coincide with world youth day to be celebrated on January 22 in Panama city, the game Follow JC Go now available free for iOS and Android, but so far only in Spanish. Soon the game should appear in other languages, including angliski and Italian.
