The U.S. state Department will require all countries to provide “more extensive” information on applicants for visas to enter the country.
According to Reuters, this was stated in the dispatch Department.
Thus, the Department may require “any other identifying information about the identity of” who wants to get a visa to the United States, including “biometric and biographic data.”
The document also sets out requirements for countries to provide data including, criminal record, individuals in the United States have reason to be suspected of terrorism. Countries in 50 days will not abide by the new requirements of the state Department or fails to take steps for their execution, and may face travel restrictions in the United States.
