United States continue to escalate in the middle East. This was stated by Russian Deputy foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov. He said that Moscow does not support Washington’s position on the military buildup.
Earlier it became known that the Pentagon strengthens its military potential in the East. In particular, the US is preparing to send anti-aircraft missile complexes Patriot, reconnaissance aircraft and drones. Everything else in the region will add about 1 million people.
Ryabkov said that the aggravation of the situation leads to very dangerous consequences. He urged U.S. authorities to stay until “there arose a spark that can ignite the fire.”
The Pentagon spokesman Rebecca Ribaric emphasized that such behavior of the States is concerned only with defending the interests of the country. According to Ribaric, the US does not intend to start a conflict.
In turn, the Deputy foreign Minister noted that the United States complicate the situation deliberately, as if warning of the imminent consequences.
American President Donald trump has repeatedly said that the US plans for war with Iran is not included. However, Moscow believes that Washington is making every effort to ensure that this war eventually provoke.
Recall the relationship between the US and Iran escalated last year, after trump decided to withdraw from the Treaty for a Joint comprehensive plan of action (SVPD) on Iran. Throughout the year, States from all sides “choked” the Iranian economy with sanctions, and damage eventually managed.
The President of Iran Hassan Rouhani considers the behavior of the United States is absolutely unacceptable and unreasonable, because his country is not seeking nuclear weapons.
