The state Department posted a greeting the Russians on the occasion of the third day after its completion.
U.S. Secretary of state Rex Tillerson belatedly congratulated Russians on national holiday − Day of Russia, celebrated June 12. The greeting text published on the Department’s website on Thursday, June 15.
“On behalf of the President of the trump and the citizens of America, I congratulate all Russians on the occasion of Day of Russia”, − the greeting says Tillerson.
The Secretary of state also notes that to date, the US and Russia have a unique responsibility for the maintenance of peace and stability. According to him, in the United States believe that countries can do more if together maintain the fundamental values of human dignity and freedom.
“Celebrating the Day of Russia, know that the United States supports the independence of your country, rich in tradition and full of opportunities”, − said the head of the state Department.
