Russia more than doubled the supply of oil to the US and UK last year, follows from the data of the FCS. This happened on the background of reduction of prices for Russian Urals and U.S. sanctions against Venezuela and Iran.

USA, UK and Turkey in the past year significantly increased its imports of Russian crude oil. This is evidenced by the data of the Federal customs service (FCS), which examined the RBC, and confirm the data of customs statistics of the countries concerned. Exports to China, the Netherlands and Germany in monetary terms has changed slightly.
Earlier, the Ministry of economic development have noted that U.S. sanctions against Iran and Venezuela helped Russia to increase oil export in 2019. A significant contribution of purchases by Turkey (due to the renewal of us sanctions against Iran) and the USA (due to restrictions of supply from Venezuela). The Ministry of economic development relied on data FTS for January—November 2019. RBC examined data for the full year.
In October 2019, Russia became the second largest supplier of oil and petroleum products in the U.S. due to U.S. sanctions against Venezuela, wrote RBC. In February 2020, the United States imposed sanctions against trading “daughter” of “Rosneft” Rosneft Trading for its deals with Venezuela. But the “Rosneft” provides a significant portion of us oil imports from Russia: according to investment Bank Caracas Capital, in December, 2019 in the US it’s 37 vessels with Russian oil, eight of which brought the goods “Rosneft”. In “Rosneft” this data is not commented.
