Washington has condemned the latest violence in the East of Ukraine.
The United States condemns the violence in Eastern Ukraine and urged Russia to respect the ceasefire. This was stated by state Department spokesman USA Heather Nauert.
“The United States condemns the recent violence in the East of Ukraine. The last 24 hours are the most bloody in 2017. At the moment it is known that eight Ukrainian soldiers were killed, five of which, according to preliminary data, were killed in the attack forces, supported by Russia,” she said at a press briefing.
Neuert stressed that Washington once again “calls on Russia and force, which is located in the East of Ukraine, to immediately respect the ceasefire and the Minsk agreement”.
We will remind, on Thursday, July 20, the speaker of Ministry of defense of the ATO Andrei Lysenko said that the shelling in the Donbass killed nine of the Ukrainian military. Later at the headquarters of the ATO said of the loss. So, according to the military, 20 July in the Donbas killed four Ukrainian servicemen, one was captured, and another seven were injured.
