According to TV channel, the United States launched about 60 Tomahawk missiles with a range of two thousand kilometers from ships in the Mediterranean sea.

The blow was struck at the military airport of al-Sirat in the area of HOMS, which, according to the United States, could organize an attack using chemical weapons.

The details of the attack and its consequences are currently not known.

It is noted that this was the first direct attack against positions of the Syrian government and the most radical military decision of the President of the United States Donald trump since his inauguration.

A rocket attack was conducted in response to a chemical attack in Idlib province, which killed 27 children.
