U.S. Secretary of state Mike Pompeo today made a statement that his country is committed to monitor the process of the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.
He said the United States remains “committed to the complete, irreversible denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula, which they will supervise”.
He made a statement on the eve of the historic summit, scheduled for June 12 in Singapore.
The meeting will be held between President Donald trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-UN. The main issue on the agenda will be the question about the elimination of nuclear weapons by North Korea.
