The U.S. Embassy in Russia announced that from 23 August 2017 suspend the issuance of non-immigrant visas in all regions of the Russian Federation.
This is due to a reduction in the number of employees of the diplomatic mission, which demanded Moscow.
Monday, August 21, begins undoing the interviews assigned to the consulates in St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg and Vladivostok.
As of 1 September, interviews will be held in Moscow at the U.S. Embassy in Russia.
As previously reported, the issuance of passports and visas at U.S. embassies worldwide is temporarily halted due to technical problems.
“We are urgently trying to fix problems and restore our system to full working order as quickly as possible”, – stated in a press release.
