The United States expressed readiness for dialogue with DPRK
The U.S. permanent representative to the UN, Nikki Haley declared that the USA are ready to dialogue with the leadership of the DPRK after North Korea cease missile tests.
“The United States wants dialogue, but not to the point, until we see a full stop its nuclear program and any tests,” said Haley.
She also noted that the UN want to achieve peace on the Korean Peninsula, while the head of the DPRK Kim Jong-UN fears “the overthrow of the political order” and his own death.
US Ambassador to the UN also stressed the need to continue diplomatic and economic pressure on North Korea, reports Interfax-Ukraine.
Nikki Haley announced that the United States will be as before to support its allies South Korea and Japan, which are directed against the aggression of the DPRK.
We will remind, on may 14, the DPRK launched ballistic missiles near the West coast. Missile Hwasong-12 reached an altitude of 2.1 km flying 787 km and fell 100 km from the Russian Primorye.
The UN security Council condemned the new launch of a ballistic missile by the DPRK, and warned of possible measures to counter the further tests.
