The Cabinet promises to make the allocation of subsidies in connection with the change of the tariff for thermal energy.
The government promises to convert the amount of subsidies to citizens in connection with growth of tariffs for some utility services, according to the government web portal.
“In March of 2017 will result in a recalculation of subsidy for all recipients in connection with the planned increase in electricity prices”, – stated in the message.
Furthermore, the Cabinet promises to make the allocation of subsidies in connection with the change of the tariff for thermal energy.
“For example the grant was assigned on the basis of the tariff for heat in October 29, 065 UAH per square meter of heated area. In December and January, the tariffs amounted respectively 31,43 UAH/sq. m 37,27 UAH/sq. m – the difference at the end of the heating season, the state compensates in the form of a recalculation of the size of subsidies,” the report says.
Recall, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has lowered social standards on gas, heat and electricity supply. New regulations will take effect from may 1, 2017. According to the resolution No. 51 of February 6, the government reduced the social norms of gas consumption from 5.5 to 5 cubic meters per 1 sq. m of heating area.
Also, the government has lowered the standards of consumption of thermal energy for district heating (district heating) subscribers, homes which have house or apartment metering devices: 0,0548 0,0431 Gcal to Gcal per 1 sq. m of heated area per month during the heating season; electric power for heating: from 65 kWh to 51 kW/ h per 1 sq. m of heated area.
