Ukrainians waiting for a three-day weekend to celebrate the day of defender of Ukraine. They will be held from 14 to 16 October – Saturday, Sunday and Monday, respectively.
October 14 falls on a Saturday, so, according to the rules, the output is transferred to the first working day of next week.
Recall that in 2014, Poroshenko signed a decree on the celebration of the day of defender of Ukraine on October 14. This was also the day traditionally celebrated as the day of creation of the Ukrainian insurgent army – military-political formation of the Ukrainian liberation movement. Then falls the feast of the blessed virgin Mary, which is celebrated by Eastern rite churches.
This year, the Ukrainians launched 11 weekends, Easter, Christmas, Victory Day, March 8, etc. At the same time, if the holiday in Saturday or Sunday, it is transferred to Monday. In honor of Independence Day, the Ukrainians fell just four weekends in a row.
Also Ukrainians based on 24 days leave (two days per month). Approximately the same number of output in most post-Soviet countries. In honor of the holiday weekend 13 – in Russia and Austria, 14 in Spain and Malta. The least weekend in Brazil – only five holidays. The annual vacation is 30 calendar days, which the Brazilians are resting as much as Ukrainians.
