In October, the Ukraine national team played their final qualifying matches for the world Cup “blue and yellow” on the road beat Kosovo (0:2), and then in Kiev lost to Croatia (0:2) for the first time and prematurely lost chances of an exit in final tournament of the world championship.
The defeat by Croatia has led to the downfall of the Ukrainian team in the FIFA rankings. The team of Andriy Shevchenko, toured Denmark, the Netherlands, Ireland, Scotland and other teams.
