On the basis of a separate brigade of aviation of the Navy was planned to fly a light multipurpose helicopter Ka-226.

“In the Nikolaev area, on the basis of a separate naval aviation brigade, Navy held its regular flights light multipurpose helicopter Ka-226. The helicopters were transferred to the naval aviators this summer from the Lviv aircraft repair plant with the assistance of volunteers and regional authorities”, – stated in the message.

This helicopter was imported in 2013 from Lithuania by road. However, due to lengthy litigation it was held at Lviv aviation plant in disassembled condition five years.

“It’s made a great amount of work for its development, the difficulty lay in the fact that in the Armed forces of Ukraine of such helicopters there. At the moment it is transport-passenger version, and if necessary, we you transform it in the health”, – is spoken in the message.

The Ka-226 is intended for transporting the wounded, equipped with all the resuscitation equipment to the air ambulance. These helicopters used in Ukraine only in the Navy where there is a material base for its explantation and maintenance.

Recall that in the Navy of the Ukrainian Armed forces ended fees of reservists of the operational reserve of the first stage. The aim of the event was to increase the level of readiness of troops for the intended use in the case of open aggression from the Russian Federation.
