Every soldier in the area ATO will be able to undergo voluntary testing for HIV/AIDS.
It is reported Saturday by the press center of staff ATO.
As a result of cooperation of the medical service of the Ministry of defence and the Armed forces of Ukraine with the International public organization “international Institute of HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis” in the area of antiterrorist operations, initiated voluntary testing of members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the aim of early diagnosis of HIV/AIDS.
“For the needs of the medical service in the ATO area free of charge transferred 60 thousand units immunogeneticheskie single-stage tests,” – said the head of the Department of medical support of the ATO headquarters Edward Khoroshun.
According to him, the testing carried out by visiting medical teams military mobile hospitals with the involvement of epidemiologists mobile sanitary-epidemiological groups. It definitely adheres to the principles of voluntarism, confidentiality, and optional and anonymous.
