The Ukrainian authorities plan to reduce gas consumption twice

Zubko spoke about measures to reduce gas consumption in Ukraine.

In Ukraine up to 2020 are required in two times to reduce gas consumption from 18 to 9 billion cubic meters per year.

This was stated by Vice Prime Minister – Minister of regional development, construction and housing and communal services of Ukraine Gennady Zubko.

In particular, Zubkov noted that in the whole country in August, the index of obsidianovye equipment with metering devices of heat is 70,47%.

“According to our calculations, this gives at least 20% savings. The establishment of a local individual heating units, regulating the amount of flow of energy saves a further 15-17% of expenditures. By 2020, the task to reduce by about 30% in the whole country, gas consumption spent on heat production,” said Zubko.

In his opinion, in General it is necessary to reduce gas consumption until 2020 by 50% – from 18 to 9 billion cubic meters.
