The Ministry of defence reported on arrangements for military training.
This year the Ukrainian army has conducted more than five thousand in training activities, which is 30% higher than the same period in 2016. This was stated on Tuesday, 7 November, head of operational training the state of training of the Armed forces of Ukraine Igor Podolyan during a briefing in Kiev.
“Throughout the year held more than 5 thousand in training activities: in the first place, pledge the readiness of units and efficient implementation of their tasks in the area of ATO”, – he said.
The representative of General staff said that this year, 109 were held command and staff exercises, 32 brigade tactical exercises, 12 tactical flight exercises.
“We have significantly increased the intensity of joint training, this year we held 30 events of operational training with involvement of representatives of other military formations and law enforcement bodies”, – he said.
Podolyan reiterated that the establishment of Centres for training units of the army and intelligence departments. In addition, the continuing implementation of the system training of trainers according to NATO standards.
“From the beginning, trained 136 trainers, 34 are receiving training. Also created 2 new and refurbished educational material-technical base of 8 existing training centers”, – he informed.
